2nd Annual K-W Canoe Symposium

On April 13th, 2013, one hundred and forty “canoeheads” will meet at the Princess Twin Theatre in Waterloo, Ontario, for the second annual K-W Canoe Symposium.

TREAD 6-Hour Trail Run Relay

OAC (and our friends) have two teams running this awesome and harrowing hill relay, presented by Chico Racing, in Mansfield, Ontario on May 12, 2013. Grab your trail runners and come out to join the fun!

2013 Spring Outdoor Gathering

The OAC Forum members have an annual Spring camping weekend in Glen Morris, Ontario on the weekend of May 17 - 20, 2013 (Victoria Day). This includes a potluck dinner, outdoorsy activities such as hiking and paddling, cycling, and trail running... plus camaraderie around the campfire. This is a family-friendly event.

Wilderness Cooking Workshop

The Friends of Algonquin Park and Laurie Ann March, author of two wilderness cookbooks, will be hosting a wilderness cooking workshop at the East Beach Pavillion in Algonquin Provincial Park in July 2013.

Run for the Toad

This trail running event is in support of the Grand River Conservation Area. OAC (and our friends) have two teams running this amazing 50K relay at Pinehurst Conservation Area near Paris, Ontario on October 5, 2013. Get your shoes ready!

Trek or Treat

Three members of the OAC team are running 10K at Canada's first ever night trail event in Oakville, Ontario on October 18, 2013. It's hilly and creepy. Headlamps are mandatory.
