Mojo Bars
A great product from the maker of Clif Bar

Mojo Bars

The people at Clif Bar have come up with a yummy treat that provides energy for all of your outdoor activities, the Mojo Bar. The team at OAC did a taste test on three flavours, Fruit Nut Crunch, Mountain Mix and Honey Roasted Peanut. The bars aren't overly salty and there are no trans fats. Bars contain 8 to 10 grams of protein depending on the flavour you choose. The protein is from a combination of nuts and soy.

The Fruit Nut Crunch flavour was very good. It wasn't overly sweet and the natural tartness of the fruit came through. Some of the ingredients of the Fruit Nut Crunch bar are roasted nuts, rice crisps, cherries, cranberries and apricots.

The Mountain Mix flavour was a favourite with the team members who have a sweet tooth. Ingredients include chocolate chips, raisins, peanut butter, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, organic pretzels, dry roasted almonds and peanuts.

The Honey Roasted Peanut flavour was a winner all around. The roasted peanuts were delicious with just the right amount of honey and a little peanut butter. There are also organic pretzels in this one.

There was one that we didn't try, Mixed Nut, but if the other flavours are an indication it will be tasty. The slogan for the Mojo Bar is "Not Your Ordinary Snack Bar" and we agree.
