Hi,

I'm looking to buy my first canoe. I am looking for light weight fiber glass or kevlar. (read... < 60lbs.) 14-17 ft. tandem..

I can travel to pick up in Ontario.

If you can wait fall has a lot of deals reg $2000 mfall 1100$ kevlar 45 lbs.

to do more canoeing than working! Someday.

Hey Adam.....take a look at these guys... http://www.holycowcanoe.com/joomla/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=45&Itemid=6 I bought from them a couple of years back....steal of a price and I love the boat! Great guys to deal with, run up and take a little look around their factory first....Stu (The Master Boatbuilder) loves his craft and is more than willing to talk canoes withy anyone who will listen!

Thanks Tall.. maybe I won't be able to find one until the fall anyway.. :(

I also found this place called beach marine.. In the Hamilton. Anyone bought one of these boats?

Yes that is where I have bought one of my kevlars from and 3 fibreglass boats (all stolen just fibreglass. Very stable boat in wind 3 keels and easy to solo. Just did a 3 day solo canoe with 16' 6".

to do more canoeing than working! Someday.

Hey adam got my canoe from beach canoes and love it.Took it on 32 trips and it is great!

to do more canoeing than working! Someday.
