Have any of you looked at our member DSD's website? http://summitstonesadventuremusings.blogspot.com/

It's an inspiring place I think. Any how, DSD and I have a few things in common. Due to this, He has graciously allowed me to share his joy of passing karma forward. And that's what this thread is about.

Some of his summit stones can be found hear in Ontario! You don't have to travel to the Rockies to find one.. So where are they?

Well let me think a minute.. I climbed an old volcano in northern Ontario.. so far north I had to travel south for hours to go canoeing on Temagami. There were some interesting ruin’s on the top of the volcano that are worth checking out. It's near the 50th parallel..

Of course, I left a few on an Island with some hiking trails while On Temagami.. and a few more the year before while paddling from Finlayson to Mowatt..

McCrea lake wilderness preserve is and always has been a favorite "quick getaway place” and a few are sure to be found along the Gibson Mc Donald route.

You might even find one or two in the Kawartha Lakes PP if I can get away in September.

Next month a few more stones will land on mountain tops and back water quiet places in Newfoundland.. A stroll through Gros Moure I'm thinking :)

So, go explore.. You may find one, or you may not. It's the quest that counts, and where the true pleasure lies. It's not in the stones themselves. But they sure are pretty.

Great blog... however, who does he go by on OAC? We don't appear to have a DSD in the member list (either that or I am missing it). It sounds so familiar but I am drawing a complete blank (sorry - probably lack of sleep).

He uses a Pseudonym here.. I'll have to go over the member list, but he links in his profile. His avatar is the compass. I met him through OAC :)

Edit.. DSD is known here as Sandpiper
