"Antonio
(Tony) Carlos Osse
Biologist

42 years old..... And counting. Teacher for the last 20 years,
Canoe builder for the next 20. Two daughters- Carolina (3 years
old) and Marina (1 year old)....hope they enjoy some results
from that all.
Almost convinced that I can really make myself understandable
in English :)"
He already has 3 or 4 groups together for the May cleanup weekend.
This is what he has done so far:
"We just voted the river we will work on, and it is the
Itapetininga (the first one we paddled together many years ago).
There are some hotels along it that we will contact for support,
as well as the county mayors and industries. Let´S see
what we get in the next months.... One member of the group is
one of the owners of the largest newspaper in Brazil, so I guess
we may get some real coverage!!! Then we have the guys from
universities that paddle with us..... They may get some coverage
too. The second one will be easier to put together, then we
can start school visits or similars....
